We’re Art & Mariëtte Kuilman, a Dutch couple who recently made the Dordogne our home. Drawn by the region’s beauty and tranquility, we’re delighted to continue the tradition of welcoming guests to this special place.
A Home with History
For over 30 years, Villa La Quieta has hosted travelers seeking the charm and calm of the Dordogne. Today, we live in the main house, while the adjacent gîte offers guests a private and comfortable retreat.
A note on our pets
We share our home with our of friendly pets who may occasionally be seen in the garden. They are well-behaved and wont enter the gîte or disturb your stay.

Where do we begin! Our gîte provides a peaceful base to explore the region's rich history, stunning landscapes, and vibrant culture.
Whether you're here to relax, adventure, or a bit of both, we're here to help with recommendations and assistance, always respecting your privacy.
The Dordogne lends itself to cycling and walking. The river offers canoe ventures, boat trips, paddle boarding, and swimming.
There are two adventure parks nearby. Vineyards, museums, world famous cave systems, the list goes on.
One thing is for sure, nobody will be bored!
