OUR Terms and Conditions

Villa La Quieta – 24200 Carsac-Aillac – is offered as a holiday rental by Art & Mariëtte Kuilman. The property operates under French law and is subject to the jurisdiction of the French courts. By confirming a reservation, guests agree to the following terms:

Booking & Payment

• A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Once received, we’ll send a confirmation email.
• The remaining balance is due six weeks before your arrival.
• For reservations made within six weeks of arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Security Deposit

• A €200 security deposit is required along with your final payment.
• This will be refunded within two weeks of departure, provided no excessive damage or extra cleaning is required.
• We kindly ask guests to leave the gîte as they found it. Final decisions about the condition of the property rest with the owners.

Cancellations

• If you cancel after the full balance is paid (within 6 weeks of arrival), no refund will be issued.
• We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes cancellation coverage.
• In the unlikely event we need to cancel your booking, a full refund will be given. However, we cannot cover other costs (e.g. travel, insurance).

General Conditions

• The gîte accommodates a maximum of 5 guests.
• Visitors during your stay are welcome with prior permission.
• Pets are not allowed, as we have friendly house pets on-site.
• Check-in: from 16:00 | Check-out: by 09:30.

Liability

• Guests stay at Villa Quieta entirely at their own risk.
• We are not liable for accidents, loss, or damage to personal property, including vehicles.
• If local or national restrictions (e.g. water shortages) make it impossible to operate the pool, we cannot offer compensation.
